Cellulite truth or Myth:

-      Cellulite is genetic: Truth. If your mother or grandmother has it most probably you’re going to have it.

-      Women get it more than men: Truth, only 10% of men suffer from cellulite.

-      Thin people don’t have cellulite: Myth. It has nothing to do with your weight, but being overweight makes cellulite more noticeable.

-      Exercise makes the appearance of cellulite better: Truth. Regular exercise reduces its appearance with all of the stretching and strengthening, in addition to burning away excess fat overall.  Yoga, strength training and aerobics are your best choice.

-      Skin firming creams can cure cellulite: Myth. There is no scientific medical study that proves this claim.

-      Non-Invasive cellulite treatments do work: Truth. Endermologie, Laser and radio-frequency treatments have been all proved effective in tackling cellulite, unfortunately they are not permanent.

-      Skin fillers are an option: Truth. Skin fillers have shown beneficial results, however they are not permanent.

-      Smoking makes cellulite worse: Truth.

-      Your diet: Truth. Your diet can’t determine whether you will get cellulite or not, but eating a well-balanced diet and drink water can help you maintain a healthy weight and reduce accumulated fat.
